Léopold Survage paints Leo

Leo Léopold Survage’s La Ville, 1924, Ink and Wash on Paper

The Moon just entered Leo.
I used to find Leo a hard sign to understand, despite knowing many Leos. I couldn’t get to the kernel. All the flashy, attention-seeking stuff I could see in celebrities, but the ones I knew were not fronting. How are they related to their opposite sign (another one it took me a long time to understand) Aquarius? I basically wrote them off as “Fire, but Fixed.”

They were not , but the genuine warmth and the cheerleading was hidden. I think Steve Martin opened up the perspective that Leos can be hilarious. Gen pop astrology says they’re “performers” and misses the point: they can be funny about themselves. While at the same time being intensely serious about themselves. But they’re fully invested. They’re performing their lives.
